Causalis offers the SERAS™ toolset for analysing incidents and accidents, developed in-house and available under a free software license.

For visualisation and other tasks Causalis also uses these other software packages:

• Realsoft 3D: a powerful 3D modelling and animation software with photorealistic rendering.
• blender: a free and open-source 3D modelling and animation software
• GnuPlot: a portable, command-line-driven 2D and 3D graphing utility for many platforms.
• X-Plane: a realistic flight simulation program which uses blade-element theory to calculate the behaviour of aircraft.
• Final Cut: Non-linear video editing software suite from Apple.
